I like to ride my car half in my lane and the other half in the breakdown lane. This prevents cars from using the lane. Another idea could be is you wait for the head lights flying down the breakdown lane and you turn on your blinker and turn your tires towards the lane. I typically get them to lock up all four tires and come to a stop. It’s also great when a cop pulls them over for using the lane. I can’t help to honk my horn and wave as I drive by.

It’s called “passing on the right” and it is illegal. Just hope there is a cop up ahead to give the guy a ticket. If someone had to pull out and hit the guy “passing on the right” who would be at fault?
