Hak5 hosts events for new product launches, training, and meetups. At these events, we want a positive experience for all attendees. We value our friends and family in the community, and want you to have an awesome time at our events.

TL:DR

Put simply, we expect that all staff, volunteers, and attendees follow our code of conduct (detailed below). Respect personal space, be nice, and have fun!

The Longer Version

Hak5 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, orientation, race, political affiliation, or religion.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, repeated disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Harassment of anyone in any form is simply not ok. If asked to stop, please comply. Otherwise, we reserve the right to remove offenders without refund.

Respect our home. The Hak5 warehouse and studio is a professional environment, so please be good to the space and the property, including the bathrooms, employee’s personal desk space, store areas, studio, etc.

As the Hacker’s Manifesto quotes: “We exist without skin color, without nationality, without religious bias…” and we support those words to our full ability.

Thank you for supporting our small business and for joining us at our events!
