#Hak.5 Rules
- Keep in mind that this is IRC. If you take offense to
anything someone says or does, try /ignore to ignore them. (If you
don't know how to use /ignore, join #help.)
- The OPs in the channel have the final decision as to what goes on in the channel, don't question them about decisions they make.
- Don't spam your personal sites. Asking for criticism of your site is fine, but don't spam a link in the chan multiple times.
- Do NOT ask for OP. This will ruin any chances you will have down the line for actually receiving +o.
- Flooding
text of any nature is disruptive to the chatting environment, and we
strongly discourage it. Excessive flooding will get you either banned
from the channel, killed from the network, or banned from the network
in general.
- Treat other users with respect. This is relatively self explanatory.
- Don't
come into the channel, and act as if we're all hackers, and attempt to
use "1337speak." You must realize, most everyone in #hak5 is a normal
user, and doesn't talk like a complete moron. The use of regular
internet contractions such as 'lol, rofl, omg' and others is fine, but
at least make it so that your sentences are readable, and not mangled
by AOL simplifications such as 'u' or 'r' to replace real words like
you or are.
- Have fun chatting!
