Hak5Live 11 from Shmoocon was recorded without audio. OOPS! The resulting 3 minute edit has been dubbed LOLHAX. From invisible chalkboards to wheel on the bus this compilation of mute footage and stupid subtitling is sure to bring your imagination to life on an otherwise dull Tuesday. Grab the source files and have fun hacking away at this pointless, in the spirit of Hak.5, mess of an episode. The source file includes 26 clips in Quicktime format and a .veg file for those using Vegas like us.
You might need to download a trial version of Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere on PC. Kino or PiTiVi on Linux. Or, well, your mac probably came with iMovie so give that a shot. Whatever you’re most comfortable with. Heck maybe Windows Movie Maker will work for ya, who knows.
If installing a non-linear editor isn’t your thing and you still want to give it a shot we’ve uploaded the source material to Jumpcut. Just sign up for an account and start playing with the publicly available footage tagged Hak5. The editor isn’t half bad for a flash app.
Then submit your entry to Hak5 by March 26 and win some cool gear!
