Between producing top notch content each month and maintaining a thriving community a whole ton of time is devoted to keeping up the awesomeness. Local Production

Live in the greater Richmond, VA or Hampton Roads area? We’re always in need of production help at the studio. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know the difference between a zoom rocker and a focus ring; at Hak5 we believe any geek worth their gigabytes can pick up the essentials and then some. Think you’re quite the personality with some hacks up your sleeve? Maybe you’re better off in front of the lens. Either way if you trust your technolust you’re probably a friend we’ve yet to meet. Of course we can’t necessarily pay you but there’s always a cold one in the fridge with your name on it and the sense of adventure and accomplishment to boot.

Community Development

Our forums, IRC, Wiki, BBS, LAN servers and underground top-sites don’t moderate themselves. Thankfully we have a talented team of ubergeeks ready to /ban der nooben at a moments notice. This elite force, internally code named the Thunder Kitten Assult Force, is the trusted team that ensures your safety and sanity throughout the community. And as the community expands we’re always in need of a few good cats able to look after the litter. Perks include a little @ sign next to your name in IRC, the occasional //Mad_Props, and our unreserved gratitude.
