Forums will BRB
The forums have been disabled for 24 hours as I try to isolate a CPU usage problem. Until then feel free top drop by #hak5 on irc.hak5.org.
Oh yeah, and the episodes and sketches pages have been updated. I think they look much cleaner.

I like it every clean, the only thing that I’ve noticed is the light grey border on the little filetype images, what about using a new class and setting the border to 0?
I’m still tweaking the CSS, I’ll try to get rid of that.

Looking good, the sketches and episodes pages are very nice, simple clean, you can instantly see what you want.
Are you going to create a seperate episodes page for Season 2? I think it would be a good idea to keep the seaons on seperate pages.
Shame the forums are down. Just have to wait some longer.
I need the forums, im getting withdrawal syndrome.
Very nice and clean. I do feel though that the right half of the page is overpopulated at the moment, and a bit of a mess. Doing 2 polls at the same time isn’t such a hot idea if you ask me.
In the newsletter, the word is caffeinated (two dots on the i), isn’t it?
The text describing ep 10 is a bit long-ish. I think it would look better if you had that at the top spanning both columns. I also feel that the Sketches, Forums etc. buttons should’ve remained under the Hak.5 logo.
And I _CRAVE_ my Hak.5 forum fix!
Nice redesign — I think keep going in this direction.
The only problem I have is to get to the forums form the main page, I have to scroll all the way down just to get the link. (of coarse I have it aa a bookmark/favorite but still…)
P.S. I am getting withdrawals from the forum as well, but if it helps find the CPU usage problem, then that is what it takes. At least we have the IRC.
What are you talking about? The link to the forums is at the very top of the page, top right corner.

That’s what I was commenting on, he said he couldn’t find the link to the forums, when it’s right there at the top of the page.
No, Comcipher – he means that the ‘forums’ link /is/ down the bottom… I mentioned this on the IRC channel the other day:
In IE6, the sidebar gets split into 2 parts – the left hand column of the sidebar is placed at the top of the page, but the right hand column is placed _under_ the left column which doesn’t look good and isn’t at all functional.. however, in Opera, Netscape and Firefox the layout is as it should be.
