Also, the relatively new BootMii is a great boot2 replacement and allows you to backup and restore your whole system. If you brick your system menu, you can still boot into BootMii and recover from a backup. It's very much like Preloader, but it has a prettier interface and works a bit better. BootMii is in Alpha or Beta also, but it worked great for me and I have successfully recovered a bricked Wii with it. They actually let me setup Openfire on Ubuntu server 64 bit. I used the MySQL option with LDAP support. It is working awesomely! I am working on a write-up on installing it on Ubuntu 9.04 which will post Monday 4/20 at Bauer-Power. Of course a huge shout-out will be in there for Matt and Hak5! -EDP Hey guys! It's very easy to do but there's also the risk of bricking the Wii. However, for those who are already on 3.3 or lower, I recommend getting Preloader. This too has a risk of bricking Wii's but if the current firmware you hold is <= 3.3, there are many further updates (via DVD's/Games) that you can use with a SaveMii dongle to unbrick.
